Hello Everyone,

We continue to see a significant amount of illness in our community. Please continue to give your student the time they need to fully recover before returning to school. We appreciate your partnership in helping keep everyone healthy.

As a reminder:

School is not in session on Monday.
Tuesday is a teacher workday focused on finalizing report cards and preparing for second-semester classes.
Wednesday will be a Winter Activities Day for students.

We also have many middle and high school basketball games taking place throughout the week. Please be sure to check the cocurricular calendar for dates and times.

Youth Ally Award Winner

Congratulations to Karren Meyer, Youth Ally Award Winner!

West River Valley Thrives is pleased to award the 2025 Youth Ally Award to Karren Meyer, Driver's Ed Instructor at Leland & Gray.

Thrives constantly observes, and is fortunate to collaborate with, a wealth of caring adults in our community. Thrives created the annual Youth Ally Award to recognize those individuals who help youth amplify their voices. Please join us in congratulating Karren Meyer on this well deserved award!

Nominations were also received for Kim Robinson and Marie Siez. Thank you for your dedication to our local youth!
